Admittedly I wasn’t very enthusiastic when I first heard of Seitokai. At first glance, Seitokai looked just like your average high school harem anime (it is, but with a badass male lead). I was about to give it the ‘meh’ pass when I noticed the appealingly enticing NOT KYOANI seal of certification stamped on it. Predictably, I picked up the show and through another predetermined linearity, it somehow ended up on my watchlist. The references and parodies mostly hits and doesn’t appear to try so hard that it fails harder like Lucky Star. I guess it’s a decent show to watch for laughs and pass the time with nothing too serious to ponder about. Perfect for those who don’t get what the fuss is all about with KyoAni and their dancing animus.
